05/03/06     NGL one announces new professional gaming competiton
Audience watching the top matches on the Games Convention

The audience is listening as NGL one announces a new professional gaming competition!

Ten selected Counter-Strike and WarCraft III top teams will compete for $66,000 attendance fee & prize money in the first season of the NGL one containing of nine online matchdays from May, 15 to July, 30 and an offline final at the Games Convention 2006, taking place from August ,23 to August, 27 in Leipzig, Germany. But not only the final event will be a highlight as the NGL one partnered up with the CineStar, which is the biggest German movie theatre group, to bring game broadcasts to a new dimension. Selected top matches will be broadcasted live in the supreme cinema theatre location at the Potsdamer Place in Berlin, talking about the CineStar Original Sony Center!

Games regularly broadcasted in cinemas is the vision of both, NGL one and CineStar. This is the first step to broadcast the most thrilling matches live on big cinema hall screens, to providet he look and feel of the cinema atmospher for the audience  while attending the match broadcasts of NGL one's partner GameSports, sending the most popular & professional german game-moderators to commentate the matchdays. In the vision of NGL one the CineStar movie theatres will become the gaming arenas of tomorrow.

The prize money will be distributed as follows:

Counter-Strike 1.6
1st place: $20,000
2nd place: $10,000
3rd place: $5,000
+ additional fee of 1000$ for every team playing the whole season,
respecting and following the rules, regulations and time tables of the league.

Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne
1st place: 10,000 $
2nd place: 4,000 $
3rd place: 2,000 $
+ additional fee of 500$ for every team playing the whole season,
respecting and following the rules, regulations and time tables of the league.
